We are currently looking for an Operations Support Advisor, to be based out of our office near Trafalgar Square, London.
In this role you will provide support to our country offices to further enable the delivery of high quality programmes. You'll organise and conduct capacity reviews, support the development and delivery of operations strengthening support packages, provide advisory support to help address under-compliance or under-performance, support the roll out of new streamlined and standardised processes, work with the country management teams to determine how best to improve the overall quality of leadership to improve operational delivery and help identify core learning needs and develop training to fulfil these. You'll also deliver some training sessions and ensure that all interventions undertaken by the team are reported on and where possible, gather evidence of the impact.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in senior operations management with extensive people management experience within insecure/fragile environments and/or emergency contexts. You'll also bring excellent project management, analytical and strategic planning skills, substantial experience of capacity building and coaching and excellent representational, influencing and diplomatic skills. A willingness and ability to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice is also required.
It would be beneficial, though is not essential, if you have experience in change management, organisational development or management consultancy and in implementing continuous improvement. A second language preferably French, Spanish or Arabic is highly desirable.
