Fair Trials International is an international charity, working to improve respect for the right to a fair trial. Our work involves helping people facing criminal charges to understand and defend their basic human rights, as well as law reform work to tackle the root causes of injustice in criminal cases. We’re looking for a Campaigns and Communications Intern to assist in our activities and help to develop our profile amongst the legal community and beyond.
Fair Trials International seeks to be recognised as a trusted expert voice on matters of international justice and our communications work should reflect this. The focus on the external relations team is to build awareness of Fair Trials’ work amongst lawyers, policy-makers and domestic NGOs.
HOURS: The internship is for 5 days a week, for a minimum of 3 months. Start date on 5th January 2015.
