About us

Christian Aid is working with others to end poverty. At the heart of this vision is transformation of the lives of people who live in poverty, empowering them to have a brighter future.

About the role

About you

You will need to have good knowledge and experience of emergency relief, rehabilitation and development issues including capacity building tools and techniques. Working knowledge of health sector programming, mainly community health, and how to integrate this into Humanitarian Programmes will be essential, as will a solid understanding of disaster risk reduction approaches and humanitarian standards, notably Red Cross Code of Conduct, SPHERE and accountability principles, including HAP.

You will be an excellent team player, with the ability to support and build relationships, including at a distance. You will also have a good understanding of the partnership approach to emergency work and experience of working with local partners, including facilitation of capacity building.
