ABOUT THE ROLE

Would you like to be part of the global media team at Amnesty International's International Secretariat? A vacancy has arisen for a Programme Administrator to support the entire media team in delivering to a busy media agenda.

You will be highly organised and enjoy making sure that all processes run as efficiently as possible. You understand the importance of good customer service in a press office, ensuring that we provide a prompt and effective service to external media. In addition to providing general support for the team - booking travel, organising meetings, processing invoices. managing communications, etc. - you will have specific responsibility for monitoring Amnesty International's media impact, developing and delivering analysis and reports.

The efficiency of this post is crucial to the success of Amnesty's media work and is a highly valued member of the team.

ABOUT YOU

With a background in working in a high-paced customer-focused environment with proven track record in events and diary management, you are well tooled to provide daily administrative support to the Director of Media, Managing Editor, News and Media and generally across the programme.
You have previous experience of media monitoring systems, and are able to coordinate interviews for media with spokespeople, communicating clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
