The post is PPA Programme Officer and you’ll be in the Programmes department.
The PPA Programme Officer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of PPA-funded “Building Skills for Life” projects in four countries, such that stated objectives are achieved on time and on budget. The post holder will support country office staff to effectively implement these projects, monitor their impact and support in-country and cross-country learning, involving and drawing on technical specialists in the Programme Department as necessary.
It’s a fixed term contract, until 31 March 2016, and it’s a full time post at 34.5 hours a week [– we finish at 4.30pm on a Friday].
We are based in Old Street, London. (Finsgate, 5-7 Cranwood Street to be precise)
The successful candidate will have experience of managing and reporting on sizeable international development projects (experience of DFID projects desirable). Supporting project implementation by others using influencing and negotiation skills, and managing complex relationships with multiple stakeholders from diverse cultural and technical backgrounds is essential You will also have experience in one or more thematic areas relevant to Plan’s work, including education, gender equality, governance, economic security or sexual and reproductive health.

The usual recruitment rate for this post (Grade 3) is £35,224 with future pay progression within the pay band from £35,224 to £37,078
