Systems Officer
Haywards Heath, UK
Salary: £28,000-£30,000

A great opportunity has arisen for a Systems Officer to work with our Programme Systems and Monitoring Team to set up, deploy and administrate a series of IT systems that will improve the way Sightsavers manages and maintains data.

The Systems Officer will work closely with the Systems Programme Manager to track and support uptake of these new systems and work on new development and systems integration.

As the organisation progresses into its adoption of these systems, the postholder will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the integrated systems. In particular they will oversee the submission of data for all of Sightsavers projects across more than 30 countries.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field, alongside experience of working on IT systems’ development and support.

The postholder will demonstrate the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and will be highly numerate and confident when working with numbers or statistics. They will have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify important issues and communicate those to colleagues.
