Cord is an international peacebuilding organisation seeking to develop the capacity of partners to build peace. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Africa regional programme and be a part of Cord's peacebuilding work in the Africa Region.

In this role, you will support the Africa fundraising strategy and be responsible for the advocacy portfolio for a Regional Office team based in the UK (London and Leamington Spa/Coventry), and our country programme teams in (currently) Burundi and Chad. Your work in fundraising and advocacy will support programmes to maximise the peacebuilding impact of development, realising human rights and transforming conflicts without recourse to violence.

The requirements: To meet the challenge, you’ll need experience in fundraising, particularly with Trusts and Foundations, and a desire to influence change through advocacy. You’ll be a team player with excellent organisational and communication skills. Ideally, you will have worked in international development previously and have a passion for applying your skills to support change for a more peaceful world.

Location: Based in London (or Leamington Spa/Coventry)
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: starting at £23,000 per annum
