Integrity is currently seeking a Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) Manager to develop and support the growing DME service line across Integrity’s three delivery geographies, Africa, Asia and MENA. The successful candidate will be resourceful, entrepreneurial and contribute to business growth. She/he will bring prior experience in the design, implementation and quality assurance of M&E frameworks. The position is based in London and is a part of Integrity’s Management Team.
The DME Manager will focus on client relations, proposal development, team management and enhancement, high quality project delivery, quality assurance and methodological development. She/he will work flexibly across Integrity’s different service lines, geographies and thematic areas. The DME Manager will report to the Head of Programme Management and Implementation. The DME Manager’s roles and responsibilities are outlined below, with the estimated split of time in brackets.
Project Development (30%)
- Contribute to the development of proposals of varying sizes within the service line, and assist in the development of other services line’s proposals on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate with primes and partners on relevant frameworks, including FCAS and GEFA, to
- formulate technical and commercial approaches to tenders and preposition for key business
- opportunities released through the pipelines.
- Provide technical assistance and inputs on DME methodologies for technical proposals.
Project Implementation (30%)
- Sponsor projects, including oversight of and support to the project manager/proposal lead and be ultimately accountable for budget, deliverables, risk and project closedown.
- Contribute to the delivery of contracted work through project management including financial management, data management, client communications and coordination of delivery efforts.
- Provide technical inputs, in a short-term technical assistance role, including quality assurance of project team deliverables.
Business Development (20%)
- Expand Integrity’s client base through existing relationships and development of new client contacts.
- Generate opportunities for further work through high quality delivery and constructive client dialogues.
- Explore upcoming opportunities not yet tendered through effective prepositioning with potential primes and other relationships.
- Raise Integrity’s profile and contribute to thought leadership in the realm of conflict sensitive/transformative DME through journal entries, concept pieces, case studies and the dissemination of formative finds from innovative interventions.
- Engage with partners on frameworks to promote greater coordination and cooperation within regular funding pipelines.
Consultant Management (10%)
- Manage engagement with our key DME consultants, build good relations with them and engage them on projects
- Identify new consultants with the appropriate technical, management and thematic skills to deliver Integrity’s growing portfolio of work. Conduct interviews with shortlisted consultants to assess competencies, build their profile and establish areas for collaboration.
- Grow and nurture the service-line specific bench of consultants by keeping profiles up-to-date and developing a comprehensive understanding of existing capacity in relation to upcoming opportunities.
- Manage relationships with Associate Consultants in order promote information sharing and determine mutually beneficial business opportunities
Corporate Development (10%)
- Understand, monitor and disseminate new agendas and trends within the field with a particular focus on contribution analysis, third-party monitoring, conflict sensitive indicator development,quantitative monitoring, impact assessments and RCTs.
- Develop unique Integrity approaches and methodologies based on innovative practices with the aim of being thought leaders in the field.
- Develop and keep up to date thematic and technical brochures that demonstrate Integrity’s capacity and expertise in a concise and easily digestible format that can be shared internally and externally.
- Contribute to the refinement and enhancement of the service line strategy through capturing key objectives and steps for further developing the service line.
