HAP International (HAP) is seeking a Verification and Certification Officer for its Secretariat in Geneva. This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team and membership organization which plays a critical role in promoting an international standard on quality and accountability in humanitarian action. The holder of this position is responsible for improving and administering the HAP verification scheme based on the principles of impartiality, competence, responsibility, openness, confidentiality and responsiveness to complaints.
The successful candidate should have experience in system auditing and/or external evaluation and in working in the humanitarian sector. S/he will have an excellent understanding of verification processes and good analyzing and drafting skills.
HAP is a partnership of humanitarian and development agencies dedicated to building a system of self-regulation based upon quality management and accountability principles. HAP is committed to supporting organizations to make their assistance and service delivery more accountable to individuals and communities through providing capacity building support, facilitating action research and supporting systems for quality management.
