We are active in three geographic regions: Africa; Asia and Eastern Europe; Latin America and the Caribbean. Since 1993, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, reaching millions of people. This year the International HIV/AIDS celebrates 20 years at the forefront of the fight to end AIDS. Our 2013 - 2020 strategy, HIV, Health & Rights: Sustaining Community Action is guided by the Alliance’s commitments to human rights-based HIV programming and to building a culture of good practice.

The Senior Advisor: Sexual and Reproductive Health brings expertise on SRH programming and will build knowledge and learning across the organisation in SRH/HIV linkages and integration and HIV linkages with maternal health. This will have particular focus on programming with key populations and those most affected by HIV, family planning/contraception, condom education and promotion, prevention of parent to child transmission (PPTCT), sexuality education, gender based violence and the STI prevention.

This is a 12-month maternity cover position which we hope will provide an excellent career development opportunity for someone interested in spending time on this important technical area of expertise. All applicants must have existing eligibility to live and work in the UK.
