We are a growing organisation, with ambitions to continually improve the quality and impact of our work. We’re looking for an experienced and talented individual to lead on developing the capacity and systems that will drive a consistent approach to programme quality for War Child. This presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to directly impact on the organisation’s culture and strategy. With an emphasis on evidence, learning and technical quality the post will work with the country teams, other departments and War Child’s sister organisations to ensure that War Child UK can maximise the impact of our work to help children in conflict areas.
Terms and conditions
- Preferred start date: November 2014
- Salary: £41,000 - £43,000 (depending on experience)
- Permit requirement: Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Pension: Up to 5% of gross salary to be matched by employee
- Leave: 28 days per year, plus one extra day for every full year of employment (up to a maximum of 33 days)
- Allowances: Accommodation and per diems are paid when travelling
- Working hours: 37.5 hour week
- Flexi-time: 8am – 10am to 4pm – 6pm

In case clarification is required post the receipt of complete reference forms, War Child reserves the right to call the referees.
- The successful applicant will be expected to undergo a CRB check, a medical check for overseas travel purposes, be compliant and sign up to War Child’s Child Protection Policy prior to a final offer being made.
