The Programmes and Partnerships department provides single oversight of our programme work and our long-term capacity building partnerships and disaster management. The department will work in partnership not only externally with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the IFRC and ICRC, but also internally with technical advisers and policy professionals in other teams.

The post of Ebola Response Manager is responsible for strategic direction, management and delivery of BRC support to the Ebola response operations currently being undertaken in West Africa. It will provide fixed term surge support to the West and Central Africa regional team until the outbreak is under control and operations can once again be handed back to the relevant Country Managers. This role will include travel to the regions affected by the Ebola outbreak.

Location - UK Office, London (with travel to West Africa)
Hours - Full-time
Salary - circa £36,000 p.a. (incl. London Weighting)
Contract – Fixed term (12 months)
