About the Role:

Within our Global Programmes division this role sits in the Programme Partnerships department and you will join a team which includes a Head of Team, a Proposal Writing team, Corporate Partnership Grant Management team and a Programme Matching and Information team.

The Grant Manager will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships account management team to ensure delivery of targets and objectives for each of the grants in the partnership, helping to ensure we are able to make a significant difference for children’s lives across the globe. This role is split into four main functions, and your responsibilities will include:

  1. Grant Managing (~45%) and overseeing the design, implementation and budget monitoring of current and new grants, ensuring all donor requirements and project objectives are fully understood by all stakeholders.
  2. Donor Communications and Reporting (~25%)to lead and drive progress on the accounts and grow the donor relationship, and ensuring timely and effective reporting and communication to the donor.
  3. Monitoring and troubleshooting (~20%) to effectively monitor grants, ensuring that learning is both gained and applied, proactively addressing key risks to project delivery and troubleshooting as necessary with country programmes and finance.
  4. Proposal Development (~30%)through project managing and leading the development and writing of high quality bespoke concepts, proposals and budgets in collaboration with Country Programmes, Programme Policy and Quality teams, Finance and Regional PortfolioTeams,

About You:

We are looking to engage a highly motivated and experienced Grant Manager to drive the progress of our portfolio of grants funded by GSK. You will have:

  • Significant experience of grant management and donor financial reporting
  • Proven track record of high level project management delivering results (preferably on an international level)
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written; ability to produce high quality proposals, reports and presentations
  • A high level of numeracy skills, and ability to carry out budget analysis

What we offer:

In return we offer a negotiable salary of £33,000 - £36,000 + pension, structured career development and travel opportunities.
