We are looking for a Media Manager to support our Ebola response in West Africa, based at our central London office, on a 6 month fixed term contract.

In this key information management role you will ensure quality and timely media materials are produced for media organisations, DFID, other partners and our members. You'll provide added support to our regional and country offices to ensure the delivery of high quality, high impact communication tools for the emergency, including human interest stories, stories showcasing the humanitarian need and our response. You'll also support risk mitigation along with the monitoring and tracking of Ebola response coverage.

To be successful in this role you will bring substantial experience either as a journalist in a credible news organization, or equivalent experience in an international humanitarian or development agency. You'll be an experienced spokesperson, used to working overseas in challenging environments and leading media activities in humanitarian programmes. You will also have the ability to perform basic multimedia and editing tasks.
